Highly creative and dedicated architect. I provide a unique holistic and professional approach to high quality residential projects of all sizes.
I started out holding on the the end of a tape measure for my father, an accomplished draughtsman and designer, for pocket money and I suppose it is just in my blood! From this I progressed, first as a planning Technician for Exeter City Council and then Architectural Technician for Strutt and Parker, a high end national estate agent.
From here I decided that Architecture was my true calling and embarked on a degree at Plymouth School of Architecture. In my year out I worked for Van der Steen Hall Partnership in Chagford, Devon. This gave me a fantastic grounding in good and careful design under the inspirational guidance of Alan Van der Steen and Peter Hall- thank you guys!
Following my Post graduate education I came to Jerseyin 1999 & stayed. The Island is stunning and has huge topographical similarities with the landscapes of Devon and Cornwall which I have so much affection for. I settled here and it is now my home. Have worked for three private practises in the Island and also for the States of Jersey as a planning officer and Department Architect. This cross qualification gives me a unique understanding of the planning system and its process.
